Das Sonderwaffenlager Alten-Buseck war ein Munitionsdepot der amerikanischen Streitkräfte. Hier wurden Kernwaffen zur Verwendung durch die Bundeswehr "nukleare Teilhabe" vorgehalten. Die Anlage wurde 1992 aufgegeben und 2017 abgerissen. Die Begehung der Liegenschaft fand mit Genehmigung und im Beisein des Eigentümers im Mai 2017 statt.Besonderer Dank gilt der Gemeindeverwaltung Buseck und dem Bürgermeister Dirk Haas

The special ammunition storage (SAS) Alten Buseck was a US Army storage site for nuclear Weapons to supply the German Army according to the NATO doctrine of Nuclear sharing. The plant was abandoned in 1992 and demolished in 2017. The inspection of the property took place with permission and in the presence of the owner in May 2017. Special thanks to the municipality administration of Buseck and Mayor Dirk Haas
